Emergency Management

The City of Anadarko Department of Emergency Management is located on the second floor of City Hall.

The Emergency Management Department works to serve as the City’s liaison on emergency/disaster preparedness issues and coordinate training programs, disaster relief and emergency operation drills. Emergency Management also coordinates emergency management function of City governmental units and is responsible for over-all coordination of survival activities within the community.

EARTHQUAKE SAFETY:

 SIREN WARNING SYSTEM

The City of Anadarko maintains and operates a siren warning system.

For Tornado warnings, the sirens will sound with  3-1 minute steady blast,  the all clear is 1-1 minute blast,we will give as much notification as possible.

Once the sirens have been activated take the appropriate action.

SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY 

·         Tune to your favorite local radio or Television stations
·         Do not call 911 unless you have an emergency to report
·         Don’t go outside to see the tornado, you may be injured
·         Do not drive into standing or rising water that’s over the road way
