City of Anadarko Municipal Court
Court Administration manages all activities related to the Anadarko Municipal Court. The department is responsible for all citations issued for violations of city ordinances by police, code, and animal control departments, as well as those complaints alleged by private citizens. Municipal court is held on Monday and Thursday at 11:30 A.M. in the City Hall court room. Trial dockets are held following municipal court. Juvenile dockets are heard by the County Court.
The Municipal Court handles violations of the City Charter and City ordinances. The City Charter establishes the existence of the city court function and the rules governing court proceedings. Bond schedules and rates for parking violations are established in the City Code.
Ruth Lewis, Court Clerk
Ruth Lewis is the Court Clerk with the City of Anadarko. Among many other duties she assists the Municipal Court Judge and is in charge of processing all City citations.
Juvenile court is held by the county.
The City has one part-time municipal judge; The Honorable Terry Bruner
The Court Clerk’s Office works 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
